Privacy policy
Stitchpaper is operated by Known by One, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States ("we"). It is built to collect as little about you as possible.
What we don't collect
- No accounts or sign-ups. Nothing on the site requires registration or an email address.
- Your images and patterns are never sent to us. Photo conversion, editing and PDF generation run inside your browser. Projects are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. We have no server that receives them and no way to see them.
- No analytics or advertising trackers are loaded at the time of this policy. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics or advertising in future, this page will be updated first and the change will be dated.
- No cookies are set by Stitchpaper.
What is stored on your device
Your active pattern, your saved pattern collection and your progress marks are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a page reload. They stay on your device, are specific to this site and this browser, and are removed if you clear site data. We recommend downloading a project file as a backup; the site cannot recover cleared storage.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by a hosting provider, which, like any web host, receives your IP address and standard request headers in order to deliver the page and may keep short-lived server logs for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us via the contact page, we keep the message for as long as needed to reply and fix the issue, and do not add you to any list.
Children
The site is a general-audience craft tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about site visitors, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on request beyond any email you have sent us, which we will delete on request. Residents of the EU, UK, California and other jurisdictions with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide; contact us to exercise them.
Changes
Changes will be posted here with a new date. Material changes, such as the introduction of analytics or advertising, will be noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
