By using stitchpaper.com you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: a free tool that runs in your browser, and some guides.
The service
Stitchpaper is provided by Known by One, LLC ("we") free of charge, as is, without warranty of any kind. We aim to keep it working and accurate but do not guarantee availability, that charts are error-free, or that the DMC color values match physical thread. Check colors against real floss before purchasing.
Your content
You keep all rights to images you convert and patterns you make. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive your content and claim no rights in it. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you convert. Do not use the tool to reproduce copyrighted artwork or commercial patterns you do not have permission to copy.
Patterns you export
Charts, PDFs, thread lists and project files you export are yours to use, sell or share. The starter patterns included in the studio are original designs and may be stitched and sold as finished pieces; please do not redistribute the starter chart files themselves as your own designs.
Our content
The guides, comparison pages and site design are © Known by One, LLC. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. The thread dataset is used under the MIT license of its source, noted on how it works; third-party notices are at /licenses/.
Local storage and data loss
Your projects are stored only in your browser. We are not responsible for loss of work caused by cleared browser data, device failure or browser changes. Download a project file to keep a copy.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including wasted materials from an inaccurate chart or color match.
Trademarks
DMC and other brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used descriptively. Stitchpaper is independent and not affiliated with them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
